About me

Hello!

I am Silvia Murro. My love for handicrafts began in my childhood, doing handicrafts next to my grandmother. This passion later led me to the Viljandi Cultural Academy, where I learned more about our national heritage.

For me, doing handicrafts is not just a job, but a lifestyle.

I have dedicated 15 years of my life to raising Kihnu sheep. These special and endangered sheep are not just animals for me, but part of our cultural history. Although I no longer keep a flock myself, it is my passion to support Estonian eco-friendly small farms by using the wool of Kihnu sheep and other sheep raised in Estonia in my work.

Why choose UTE handicrafts?

When you buy from my online store, you don’t just get an item. You get:

Authentic Estonia: You support the work of local small farms and craftsmen.

Quality: Each item is born from years of experience and academic knowledge.

Closeness to nature: Wool is a warm, breathable and natural material that caresses the body and soul.

Thank you for caring and choosing genuine craftsmanship!
